This is a very nice mare - gentle, sound, & well built. She is solid footed and is easy to trim and shoe. Tinker started this mare a year ago and has given her a job to do ever since. She is currently used for ranch and cow work and has been working cows since she was started under saddle. Tinker's used her at mulitple cow brandings across the east coast over the last year with branding numbers from 350 to 500 head. She is dependable and a hard working horse. For anyone interested in the "Ranch Horse" phenom sweeping across the east coast, this is the mare for you. She would be an excellent mount in ranch roping or cow working classes at shows or ranch roping competitions.

Tinker currently uses this gelding in ranch roping competitions as well as for cow brandings and in all of his general cow work. He is an experienced competition horse and will be ready to go to work for you immediately. This is not a horse that needs "some riding" or a "refresher course" - he is competing this year. You can even see him compete in the 'Top Hand Series', September '09 in Virginia (see our events page for details). This horse will work for you and allow you to get the job done. He is patient and willing. He was started in the snaffle bit and is now in the hackamore. He has competed in 2 Ranch Roping competitions so far, with more to come, and has been used on cows for approximately 2 yrs. He is gentle, quiet & sound and competition ready. When he's not being used in competition or for Tinker's cow work, Tinker's wife Stephanie trail rides on him. Even though he is primarily being used by Tinker, he would make and excellent ladies horse. He has a very pleasing and sweet disposition.
